I have in my collection a National Football League Golden Anniversary 1920-1969 medallion. It was manufactured by the Medallic Art co. NY. I have contacted Medallic Art and they said that the medallion was manufactured for the NFL in 1969 and that the artist was Rolf Beck. They refer to it as the Fiftieth Anniversary medallion. They do not know how many were made because of lost records due to a bankruptcy. I contacted the Pro Football Hall of Fame museum and the curator said that he has never seen one and to call the NFL itself. I called the NFL and they do not have any records of it either. There is little on the internet about though you do see some on eBay for sale. I am trying to find out how many were made and how much they cost originally. If you could help me find out this information I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
