Mint, Proof Sets Coins: World Coins & Paper Money
Mint sets coin sets specially minted for collectors rather than circulation by the mint of a given country. These can be non-circulating coins or coins of the type intended for circulation but that are issued in mint sets before they actually circulate. Complete sets of the coins of an entire year can be obtained from many mints in two types: brilliant uncirculated and proof. Proof sets coins are made from specially polished blanks. Brilliant uncirculated coins are a less exotic type of mint sets compared to proof sets in that they are produced in more or less the same way as circulated grade coins.
