On the infrequent occasions when I actually want to watch something, it's nice to be able to record it, so I can watch it whenever I get the chance. I...

- Music Memorabilia Memorabilia -> Music Memorabilia -> Rock, Pop Music memorabilia has always been popular, and although we associate it primarily with today’s rock and pop musicians, the practice of collecting items for musicians and groups dates back many hundred years. Beatles Memorabilia Memorabilia -> Music Memorabilia -> Rock, Pop-> The Beatles Out of all of the rock groups that rose to prominence in the 1960’s, none took the world by storm quite like The Beatles and since then, Beatles memorabilia has been a hot commodity. There are fans that have built up...- If A Band Were A God Primus began the band in California, as "Primate" during the mid 1980's, when another band named the same threatened a law suit. They settled on Primus, latin name meaning first or chief. Their first album, Suck On This, released in 1989, and financed by Les' father. Frizzle Fry (their first studio album), came out in 1990, and released singles for "John The Fisherman" and "Too Many Puppies", and with a music video featuring Kirk Hammett, a studio album and a tour with Jane's Addiction, their popularity grew, and where the catch-phrase "Primus Sucks" began, that is thanx to Les Claypool, who when told how good they were, he stated, "No, we suck!".

- Daily Rec: Daft Punk Video Encore Today's daily rec comes in the form of a video. Sadly I can't find any really good quality videos of this, but I think it's something everyone should be able to experience. I was lucky enough to Daft Punk play on their Alive 2007 tour in Hyde Park, and it was one of the most electric things I have ever seen. I would put this show on the same level as Pink Floyd's Pulse tours - to give it some perspective! So here is the, now legendary, encore set from the Bercy, Paris show. I won't spoil it for those that haven't seen it already, but I will say make sure you get to at least 4:40.
