Many people find Sci-fi and fantasy films, comics, movies and more to be very interesting and a great way to escape from the monotony of their everyday life. Some of these people are also trading card collectors who once they find out these cards are available start to collect them or are great fans of the sci-fi or fantasy and want to have any memorabilia or items that are available.

These series may cover many different types of sci-fi or fantasy. For instance, there are different types, which can include travelers between worlds or even galaxies, creatures you would hardly even be able to dream of or other amazing ideas. These cards feature art portraying these ideas making a portable way to have a piece of the world someone made with you. Sci-fi and fantasy tend to be popular because of things mentioned above but also because of the attachment, you feel for main characters when an idea has been well thought out or when a script is well written. When a person goes through a personal tragedy in these stories, many people feel empathy and are very interested in what will happen, or in wanting them to feel better as they try to overcome their struggles.

It can be very easy to be attached to these genres and the things that they hold within so some of the tie when someone who enjoys collecting cards or collecting in general finds an interest in one or one of the characters that is part of one they start to collect those cards, and other related cards.
