Olympic contest: Are you the Face of the Games?

The Royal Canadian Mint is sponsoring ‘The Face of the Games’ on the wake of the Winter Olympics to be held in Vancouver this year. The aim of the event is to find an ultimate Olympics Fan

The event will select two lucky winners who will get their face embedded on a coin on 100 medallions each. The coins will be exclusively designed comprised of the faces of winners on one side and the other side will contain VANOC/Mint logo.

The grand and luckiest person will be awarded with a trip to Ottawa for two people on or near the Canada Day. The winners will get the prize directly awarded from the Mint. The event will also award four runners up who will get Mint sponsored prizes worth $500 each.

There are two ways to enter into competition:

1. Submit a short video of yourself (which is of 30 seconds) or,

2. Submit a photo or short essay (up to 250 words)

The entrant must clear in his entry that why he or she must be chosen as the Ultimate Olympic Fan for the upcoming Winter Olympics. The winner will be decided by the number of votes won by him. Social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Orkut are the best way to spread the word about your participation. The entrant is supposed to log on at the face of the Games site and upload the prerequisites for the event. The contest runs live until March 21 and the contest opens today. Last but not the least,
